Loudspeaker workshop at Nanjing University: "Big Sound from Small Speakers"
On October 8 - 9, 2010, Prof. Wolfgang Klippel will present a lecture at Nanjing University for engineers in the field of loudspeaker design, production, quality control and students in electro acoustics. Check back soon for more details concerning abstract, venue and registration in Chinese language!
ALMA Asia Symposium in Shenzhen
This year we will again be exhibiting at ALMA in Shenzhen, October 16 - 17. Don' t miss Prof. Wolfgang Klippel's paper "Detection of Air Leaks in Loudspeaker Systems". More details will be available soon here.
129th AES in San Francisco
We will show KLIPPEL R&D and QC SYSTEM at our stand no. 1226 during next AES Convention on November 4 - 7 at Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco. Wolfgang Klippel will present the paper "Detection and Localization of Air Leaks in Loudspeaker Enclosures" and the tutorial "Loudspeaker and Headphones - Diagnostics of Sound Radiation". You are warmly welcome to attend! Please contact us for the reservation of your personal guest ticket which will grant free admission to the exhibition! More facts will be available here.
KLIPPEL at "prolight + sound" SHANGHAI
Come and visit our booth no. 1A15 (Hall W1) at this year's "prolight + sound SHANGHAI" taking place on October 12 - 15 at Shanghai New International Expo Centre. Wolfgang Klippel will hold the technical seminar "Life Testing and Maintenance of Loudspeaker Systems" (October 14, 13:00 - 14:30, Meeting room W1-M1). Please have a look here for more information.
NEW in QC SYSTEM: Production Noise Immunity
The ambient noise monitoring realized in KLIPPEL QC SYSTEM by using a second far-field microphone is extended now to a full noise immunity solution in real production environments. Noise corruption is reliably detected and tests are repeated automatically. Furthermore, the new Merging Technology combines multiple tests corrupted by ambient noise, ultimately providing valid results.
NEW in QC SYSTEM: Leak Detection
We will release a new module soon for detection and localization of air leaks in enclosures, dust caps and other parts of loudspeaker systems. A new demodulation technique exploits unique symptoms of turbulent air noise to distinguish this particular defect from rub and buzz and other irregular distortion.
